sanc·tum /ˈsaNG(k)təm/ noun 1. a sacred place, especially a shrine within a temple or church. 2. a private place from which most people are excluded. “Sanctum” is an original tiny watercolor painting on oval Fabriano hot pressed paper, 2x3 cm, set in a brass, double glass pendant. Signature, year of creation and title are all hand written on the back of the tiny painting. Included in the pendant is a second piece of paper with a red letterpress print and handwritten initials to embellish the reverse. The necklace is a brass link chain, which measures 45.72 cm (18 in.). P.S. The papers within the pendant are not glued or adhered to each other or the interior in any way. They can freely shift and move about, though this should not affect the integrity of the piece. P.P.S. Please note: This pendant is not waterproof. Do not get wet. Treat as fine art.
