has spent many hours gazing out windows, taking in impressions + atmospheres of ever changing landscapes before her + within. Drawn from memories + photographs, her tiny art depicts scenic views, flora + fauna found in her daily life, as well as symbols for a more in depth narrative . She delights in exploring various media, watercolor, ink, gouache, acrylic + pyrography, as well as different surfaces from the traditional to unique, salvaged substrates of pistachio shells, matchsticks, nailheads... Though often confined by the limits of her body, her art presents a tiny escape, a fleeting moment of focus + respite, which she in turn offers to fellow travelers.
